For the last
couple of years I've been saying how July
and August are slow months for people running online
businesses.
Lots of people
here in Britain take holidays now
because all the children are let out of school for
summer. So everyone else takes their foot off the
pedal and we freewheel through summer :-)
So don't expect
people to be glued to their monitors
when it's 80F outside. Don't expect them to want to
read your latest ebook or visit your new website.
If you don't
want to hit the beach, now is a very
good time to finish any lingering tasks that have
been festering away in the "I'll get around to it"
pile.
Revamp your
website.
Add fresh
content.
Build a new
mini site.
Create a new
product or overhaul an old one.
Then everything
will look fresh when people return
tanned and happy to buy your latest ebook and visit
your latest website :-)
