Have you noticed
how every new ebook, every new piece
of software and every new seminar promises to be *the*
product to cure all your ills?
Of course,
there are lots of great products being
released all the time.
[there's also
a bunch of rubbish, which is why I
try to act as a BS filter for you :-) ]
But, there's
a very important point to be made...
Each ebook
is information...
But how much
information goes to waste? People buy
books and don't read them. People have the TV on,
but don't watch. People have Internet access but
don't use it.
Each piece
of software is a tool...
But how many
tools are used regularly? People have
ovens but eat at fast food restaurants. People have
saws, hammers and screwdrivers, but never use them.
People have spreadsheets but never open them.
The point
I'm trying to make is that the new ebook,
the new software won't run your business for you.
Each purchase
should be seen as a new addition to
your skill set. With an ebook you KNOW more. With
software you can DO more.
But you still
have to APPLY the knowledge or USE
the software to reach your goals.
Can ebooks
and software gather digital dust while you
goggle at the TV? You betcha!
