Can you handle an Internet
business?
I'm not talking about
making a few hundred dollars a
year from affiliate sales.
I'm talking about the
whole shebang...having multiple
products, dealing with tech support, customer service,
paying associates, creating pages, submitting to search
engines etc etc.
I'm talking about running
a business that generates
well into six figure sales annually.
It involves a lot of
work.
Are you up to it?
Let me throw a few
comments at you...
On the plus side, your
business really can run itself.
Yes, you really can make money while you're at the
beach (or while moving house) ;-)
On the negative side,
your business can't run itself
for long. Your email piles up and need to be answered
eventually.
But, on the positive
side, you can log in and answer
those immediate emails whenever you wish and from
almost any location you wish.
On the negative side,
the time and the location don't
matter because you're back at work.
Hmmm.
Does anyone else see
this as a circular argument? :-)
The way I get it into
perspective is by watching
people commuting to work each weekday...
(My commute is a 10-second
walk to my office).
..working for a boss
they hate...
(I am my own boss)
..and for low-wages...
(I can't complain,
the money's good!)
..doing the same thing
each day...
(something different
happens every minute online!)
..and counting the
minutes to the next break...
(not something I worry
about!)
Once I get things back into perspective, I realize
that an Internet business has to be the best thing
since sliced bread!
Taking a step away
and looking at things from a
different angle can sure help throw new light on
a situation :-)
