A lot of people believe
that the "inner circle" advertisers and popular mail order
adsheets and tabloids they receive in the mail are the ONLY people
in mail order and MLM. I know this because I believed this myth
myself for many years. Only during one of my recent market research
proejcts did I realize that a NEW world exists that many of you
may not know about.
Just like when Christopher Columbus sailed out and discovered ANOTHER
world, so it is the same in the mail order and multi-level markets.
And why don't we hear about these markets? Because there is such
a wide variety of them.
Some of the biggies make themselves known to us subtly. We see QVC
on television and all the 1,000s of commercials asking you to call
in an order and charge to your credit card. But did anyone stop
to think that these television shows and commercials are mail order
companies? That's right -- they are! They take orders by phone and
MAIL back the order to us, don't they? When you call Quill and Viking
to place an order for office supplies -- they are mail order companies
too. A mail order company is a company that conducts business through
the mail, right? So just stop and think about all the millions of
mail order companies in the marketplace. The number of them is astounding.
In our own "inner circle" environment we have large companies
also. People who have enough money to advertise in "Entrepreneur,"
"Income Opportunities," "Spare Time," etc. are
the biggies in our group. So aren't there millions of us who can't
afford to advertise in those national publications -- but still
exist and operate a mail order business? We are hidden behind these
larger companies simply because of the amount of money we are limited
to for advertising.
So wouldn't it make sense that if this fact is true in our small
market, it would have to be true for the television markets and
other millions of mail order markets? Of course it would. Just like
we are the third planet from the sun. But there are millions upon
millions of other solar systems (sun with nine planets) in the Milky
Way Galaxy alone. We are just too limited in our brain capacity
to actually visualize the vastness.
So here's a brain exercise for you to practice with. When you lay
down to sleep tonight, try and visualize the word "forever."
How far can you go mentally in trying to understand this word and
visualize it? As humans, it takes a lot of wisdom to understand
something that NEVER ends -- something that goes on forever and
ever, with absolutely NO end whatsoever. It's hard, isn't it? But
give it a try one night just for fun.

Visualize Various Markets
I visited a place once called Dante, Virginia.
I bet that 99% of the people reading this report will NOT know where
this place is. However, the people in Dante, Virginia ACTUALLY believe
that they are the only people on the planet Earth. Most of them
never leave the area. They don't watch much television (since you
must have cable to pick up anything except "snow") and
they spend all their time talking about the old days.
Now that's fine if you like to live a boring life -- but impractical
thinking in the business world. Oh, don't get me wrong. As a writer
I value and appreciate my solitude -- but if I didn't hassle and
keep up on market trends, my business would surely falter and crash.
Yes, folks. There are a million different markets you can sell to
out there. Con artists sometimes use this knowledge to escape from
one market to the other. Normally they aren't caught for several
years -- but what's the point in making a lot of money right now
and paying for it later? One con artist I read about used to make
$6 million a year. He lived it up and enjoyed every material possession
in the world. But he pulled too many scams and eventually lost everything
he had and was put in jail for 15 years. What, pray tell me, did
this man gain? I will never understand this logic!
